## The Shift // bitbots.fun/city

A factory town where every district is one of the five real stocks. The lights come from that stock's real 5-day move, the conveyor carries the real trade-fee stream into the real 65 / 25 / 10 splitter, and the benches out front are where the Machines will stand. Nobody has been hired yet β€” so they are drawn empty and numbered, and they will stay that way until real Machines exist.

LIVE DATA: stock moves Β· fee stream Β· purse balance Β· payroll runs Β· the split. Everything else on the canvas is scenery β€” citizens, lamps, window flicker, belt speed.

SPECIMENS: the nine detailed robots walking the streets are real generated Machines from the forge β€” the same nine on the contact sheet β€” but not minted, not owned by anybody, and not for sale yet. They are drawn translucent, on a dashed grey ring, tagged SPECIMEN, and they never stand on a numbered bench: a bench is reserved for a Machine somebody actually hired.

The Foreman's Board

The board is the source of truth; the canvas is a drawing of the board. If they ever disagree, the canvas is wrong.

0 Machines forged. Every bench is vacant and every row above reads 0 hired β€” that is the real number, not a placeholder. No Machine is drawn as hired, owned, or earning, and none will be until Machines exist on chain. The nine SPECIMENS walking the streets are real generated Machines that nobody owns β€” they are labelled as such on the canvas, they carry no serial, no owner, no wage and no vault, and they never stand on a numbered bench.
